Avoid bright lights before sleep
Exposing ourselves to bright lights in the evening before bed, including watching television or reading smart phones in a dark room can disrupt the production of the sleep hormone melatonin which helps control sleeping patterns and natural sleep cycles.
An interesting way of blocking the blue light produced by these products is to wear a pair of amber-tinted glasses. This will trick your mind into thinking it is completely dark and allowing melatonin to be produced, helping you have a better night’s sleep.
