It is common knowledge that fish is a healthy food. This is particularly true when it comes to fatty fish, like salmon, which is full of omega-3 fatty acids and many other nutrients.

This includes the fat-soluble vitamin D, a nutrient which most people are deficient in. It acts like a steroid hormone in the body, which is perfect towards our muscle growth goals.

The Fatty acids are crucial for the body and brain to function optimally and are strongly linked to a reduced risk of many diseases.

Evidence shows that people who eat high quantities of fish have a lower risk of various diseases, including heart disease, dementia and depression.

It’s fair to say, all types of fish are good for you. They have a high content of many nutrients that of us are not consuming enough of. These include high-quality protein, iodine and various vitamins and minerals, so eat well and enjoy your fish.
