Fat isn’t bad, don’t skip it!
Don’t be put off by high fat foods as they can contain useful vitamins and minerals which makes them incredibly healthy and nutritious.
Nuts for example are packed with magnesium, vitamin E, fibre and many other nutrients. Studies have shown that they can help with weight loss, and may help fight type 2 diabetes and heart disease.
To add to this, approximately 10-15% of calories in nuts aren't absorbed into the body, so they could even boost metabolism as some evidence suggests.
One study shows, almonds can increase weight loss by 62% compared to complex carbohydrates.
