Walking counts as cardio
Contrary to belief, walking does count as aerobic exercise and is one of the best things to improve mental and physical health. Other methods of cardiovascular exercise including jogging, biking and rowing will burn extra calories through an increased heart rate but walking for longer periods of times can have similar effects.
Increased cardiovascular exercise is particularly effective towards reducing belly fat which accumulates around your organs and can cause many severe conditions. This reduction in belly fat can lead to great improvements in metabolic health.
